Wood Grips single action exhibition grade cocobolo grips can transform the entire appearance of a Ruger Single Action Pistol in seconds. Special care is taken in selecting cocobolo, which has striking figure, grain and contrasting colors.

The custom quality satin sheen finish is applied by hand with impeccable attention to detail, ensuring zero open pores. Checkered versions have 18 lines per inch hand cut checkering with traditional colt pattern.

There is a difference in size between the Ruger Single Action steel frames and the aluminum frames. The aluminum frames are slightly larger. The vast majority of Single Actions produced by Ruger use the steel frames. Only a few models use the aluminum frame. To ensure the best possible wood to metal fit, Wood Grips makes two sizes for each Ruger Single Action model. To the best of our knowledge we are the only grip manufacturer that does this.
